At the heart of the world's largest cloud event, technology became a spectacle. And behind every unforgettable second was Novelty Spain. 

From 1-4 April 2025, the ExCeL London convention centre, hosted over 12,000 leaders, engineers and visionaries of the Cloud Native universe at the largest KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2025 ever held.

Novelty Spain: AV excellence for high-tech events 

With a consolidated track record as an AV partner offering cutting-edge audiovisual solutions at international events (Mobile World Congress, VMworld, etc.), at KubeCon 2025 we brought into play all our technical, strategic and creative capacity thanks to our experience in technical audiovisual production. 

At the previous edition in Paris (KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2024), together with Novelty Paris and Groupe Novelty, we proved that is more than just a supplier: we are a strategic partner for major events to shine at the highest level with comprehensive AV solutions adapted to the specific needs of each event space. 

A technical audiovisual production that exceeded expectations at the benchmark event in the cloud sector.

The technical complexity of KubeCon + CloudNativeCon required careful planning and appropriate AV services for each space.

Lighting: solutions for technology events 

For this edition, an advanced lighting system was designed that combined efficiency and high visual impact, using state-of-the-art AV technology to adapt to the magnitude of the space and the audiovisual content. 

• 22 x Martin MAC Viper Wash DX - for perfect front light on stage.

• 20 x Ayrton Rivale +  46 x Robe Tarrantula - for textures and audience washes

• 8 x Martin MAC Aura XIP - scenic backlighting.

• 10 x Chauvet Color Strike - reinforcement lighting for the public.

• 10 x Ayrton Rivale + 22 x Robe Tetra (on the floor) - for texture effects and enhancement of decorative elements.

• LED scenography with dynamic patterns that breathed with the content. 

This arrangement ensured dynamic, versatile lighting that was perfectly integrated into the plenary.

Surround sound 

The sound system was designed to deliver an immersive, clear and balanced experience throughout the venue, with a configuration optimised for large-scale conferences. 

Some of the equipment used: 

• L-Acoustics Kara II PA system   

• Frontfills, monitors, and subwoofer reinforcement calibrated for maximum clarity.

• Integrated streaming and recording from PM5 and DM7C consoles ' 

This sound system ensured homogeneous coverage throughout the plenary, both for those attending in person and for the live broadcasts and recordings of the event. 

High definition video 

The plenary featured an impressive visual display designed to make an impact on the audience and adapted to the presentation formats used during the event. 

Some of the AV equipment used: 

• Main LED display:

  • 30m x 5m LED Wall and Pixel Pitch 2.6mm LED + high brightness laser projection.

  • Full integration between local signal, international streaming and broadcasting.  

The result?
