Audiovisual Technical Production: Gala Dinner at the MNAC's Sala Oval

On January 9, 2025, the Franco European Image agency, in collaboration with Novelty Spain as the audiovisual partner, organized an unforgettable gala dinner as part of a convention for Point S employees, a French automotive maintenance services company.

The event took place in the iconic "Sala Oval" of the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC), one of the largest venues for social events in Europe.

To ensure an immersive and memorable experience for all attendees, Novelty Spain developed a comprehensive audiovisual technical production, combining cutting-edge audiovisual equipment with flawless execution.

• Designer Lighting for the Gala Dinner

   

To create a sophisticated and dynamic atmosphere, we flawlessly executed the lighting design provided by the Light Designer:

• • Titan Tube (12 units.) in the entrance hallway, integrated into the decor. 

• • WellFit RGBA (40 units.) to highlight decorative fabrics.

• • Zenit B200 (40 units.) on the floor to illuminate columns on the upper level.

• • Color Strike (47 units.) on totems, configured to illuminate columns and ceiling.  

• • OXO Pixyline 150 (12 units.) as backlights on the stage floor. 

• • Mac Aura XIP (66 units.) in bars and trusses to illuminate the tables during dinner. 

• • Tarrantula (16 units.) distributed among trusses and upper floor floor. 

• • Mega Pointe (12 units.) located at different levels behind the stage. 

• • Proteus Máximus (19 units.), to create textures and front stage lighting. 

• • MDG ATMe (2 units.) y AF1 (2 units.) for atmospheric effects. 

Thanks to the design and AV lighting equipment, the result was a visually stunning environment where every element of the "Sala Oval" was enhanced with technical and aesthetic precision.

When the elegance of a gala dinner is combined with the technical complexity of AV production in venues as unique as the "Sala Oval" of the MNAC, having experience, quality equipment and an experienced technical team is key to optimize every resource and ensure the best possible result .

To achieve impeccable sound coverage, we install: 

• • 2 clusters of 3x SB18  

• • 2 clusters of 6x Kara II 

• • 2 clusters of 6x Kiva II as Delay 

• • Front row reinforcement with SyvaLow and Syva on SB18  

• • X8 (4 units.) on the stage 

• • Yamaha RIVAGE PM5 desk 

• • Axient microphones, Rio32  

• • and a Freespeak intercom system.  

Thanks to this configuration, we guarantee a clear and immersive sound experience throughout the venue. 

• Video and broadcast for flawless projection and transmission 

   

  To ensure flawless live streaming of audiovisual content we implemented: 

   

  • 2 Panasonic PT-RQ35KEJ projectors, with 30,000 lumens and 4K resolution.  

  • Giant screens on the sides of the room, for visibility from any point. 

  • Blackmagic URSA G2 4K cameras for live broadcasting.  

     

    This allowed every detail of the event to be captured and projected in the best quality.

• Rigging: intelligent truss and motors for AV equipment and artists 

To structure the AV production, we install: 

• • We installed five truss lines; for lighting and projection.
  • 24 Liftket 500 kg D8 motors.
  • 2 APEX Kinesys intelligent motors for aerial artists performance.
