TE Connectivity, A global leader in electronics and sensing solutions, held its prestigious “Transportation Leadership Meeting” conference in Barcelona, bringing together 250 industry executives.  

This event, which took place from October 14-17 at the impressive Grand Hyatt Hotel, formerly Hotel Sofia, the participants had the opportunity to enjoy four days of networking & leadership through conferences on the main stage and in different breakouts sessions. 

Innovation and audiovisual excellence along with Novelty Spain

A high-tech stage with a special LED wall 

The event was held in the hotel's “Living ABC” space, an area of 865 m² that housed an impressive 60-meter long stage. This space stood out for its minimalist and modern design, dominated by a panoramic LED screen of 20x4m and 7680 x 1536px resolution, which became the protagonist of the conference.  

This wide viewing angle screen allowed attendees to enjoy high quality audiovisual content. In addition, the VDO Sceptron 10 tubes, installed next to the screen, added a special touch that guided the attention of the participants in a dynamic and immersive way.   

Top-quality sound quality for a high-level event 

At Novelty Spain, we understand that a large-scale event requires impeccable sound. Therefore, we installed 40 L-Acoustics loudspeakers (models Kiva II, X8, 5XT, and SB28 subwoofers) strategically distributed throughout the room, ensuring that the sound would reach every corner of the space in a uniform and crystal-clear manner.  

To guarantee a perfect experience, we used Shure ANXIENT microphone systems and Clearcom FreeSpeak II intercom systems, allowing smooth and accurate communication between the entire technical team and the stage.   

Impeccable lighting to accentuate every moment of the event 

Lighting is key to enhancing both the aesthetics of the event and the attendee experience. In this case, the space was lit with 20 SGM Q8 units to ensure speakers were comfortable, while 24 Mac Aura spotlights and 12 Artiste Picasso units added drama and excitement to key moments on stage. 

In addition, we used 24 WellFit and 16 Astera Titan Tube units to highlight the architectural forms of the room and create a welcoming environment, achieving a sophisticated and enveloping atmosphere. 

AV solutions for 5 simultaneous breakouts 

Five additional rooms were set up for breakout sessions, equipped with essential AV technology such as LED screens, projectors, wireless microphones, sound and broadcast systems, allowing the nearly 300 participants to attend business meetings with the best audiovisual quality.
