The Puig Women's America's Cup was one of the protagonists of the 37th America's Cup, the world-renowned sporting event whose trophy is one of the most coveted and oldest in the history of sport.
This event, sponsored by Puig, the leading brand in the beauty and fashion industry, had a clear objective: to give visibility to women's talent and reduce the experience gap in this elite sport.
This sponsorship not only reaffirms Puig's commitment to equity in the sport of sailing, but also reflects its deep connection to Barcelona, the city where it is based.
In collaboration with the agency PROFIRST, Novelty Spain was the AV partner responsible for the technical production of the party of this great sporting event held at La Fábrica - an architectural masterpiece by Ricardo Bofill.

Our team took on the challenge of providing integrated lighting, sound and power distribution solutions for a unique event honoring the elite athletes of the 12 participating teams, including 17 Olympic medalists.
PROFIRST was responsible for creating a lighting design that sought to highlight each great moment of the party with subtlety, elegance and the glamour of luxury events.
The distinguished guests from the world of sports, culture, beauty, fashion and creativity began the evening walking down an outdoor corridor embraced by cypress trees, illuminated by Astera's AX9, an elegant uplight that highlighted the beauty of the extensive garden at the entrance.

This romantic walkway led to the photocall area, where several Ayrton Rivale Profile and Skypanels SC60 were installed, used to emphasize the shapes of the architecture and to guarantee the best photographs to immortalize the moment.

Arriving at the cocktail area, with a unique concept of circular format, our lighting equipment for events such as the Martin Mac Aura XIP, Astera AX3 Lightdrop, Astera Titan Tube IP65 - many of them hung with magnets to integrate seamlessly into the decor, keeping the aesthetics pristine - created a cozy atmosphere where celebrities like Charlotte Tilbury, Carolina A. Herrera or Harris Reed could enjoy the celebration.

Another highlight of the event, which was a great success among the guests, was the chill out area, a space decorated with bamboo, illuminated with Elation Proteus Maximus, Astera AX9 & AX3 and approximately 60 PixelBrick units, which created an intermittent choreography, which flickered on and off slightly, simulating a cool mist of air throughout the environment.

High-quality sound was a crucial part of creating the ideal atmosphere during the Puig Women's America's Cup celebration.
For the welcome area, PROFIRST designed some exclusive “playlists” totally dedicated to the event, with immersive nature sounds and sound effects, evenly and elegantly distributed, almost imperceptibly, through 12 discreet UPM speakers on the floor.
In the cocktail and dinner area, our rental sound equipment was used; 8 MM4 loudspeakers with magnets to integrate into the structure of the building, ensuring that the music flowed harmoniously. Meanwhile, in the chill out area, a sound system with 4 108P speakers was implemented, creating a relaxing and cozy atmosphere for the guests.
The night was topped with a surprise DJ set by Mel C, ex Sporty Spice, followed by Pascal Moscheni, giving continuity to an unforgettable party full of energy and emotion.
We prepared a special setup with the latest Pioneer DJ equipment; 3 CDJ3000 multi players and the DJM A9 mixer, together with the elegant SyvaLow, Syva, and SB18 subwoofers for a powerful and evolving professional sound.
