Google ESCAL8 2024: AV Technical Production in hacking and computer security competition

The Google ESCAL8 2024 event, a computer science competition organized by Google, brought together experts from around the world to compete in cryptography, reverse engineering and software vulnerability exploitation challenges in a race to “capture flags” (CTF) in the shortest possible time.

A global hacking and security competition 

The event, which spanned four days from October 18-20, was held at the “Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Informática” (University of Malaga). In addition to the main competition, ESCAL8 2024 included various activities, dinners, workshops and educational talks.

As Brandfuel's AV partner, Novelty Spain was in charge of the complete audiovisual  technical production for Hackceler8, CTF's consolidated grand finale. Including:
